Shenzhen's Stories
In order to earnestly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and tell the stories of China, Guangdong and Shenzhen, “iShenzhen” and Shenzhen Government Online have launched a multilingual column “Shenzhen Stories.” Themed on “Shenzhen Archives,” the first series of the column will tell “Shenzhen Stories in the Archives,” presenting the course of Shenzhen’s reform and opening up in multiple dimensions and from different angles and motivating the city to embark on a new journey filled with glories and dreams.
Shenzhen’s Employment and Residence Service Center for Foreigners
The inauguration ceremony of Shenzhen’s Employment and Residence Service Center for Foreigners (hereinafter referred to as Service Center) was held on Dec. 11 jointly by the Science, Technology and Innovation Commission of Shenzhen Municipality (Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs) and the Public Security Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality in the Administrative Service Hall of the Civic Center. At the same time, the Shenzhen Foreigner Integrated Service Management Platform (hereinafter referred to as Integrated Platform) was put into service.
Nature in Shenzhen
Shenzhen attaches great importance to biodiversity conservation, and its advanced concepts, delicacy management, and experience in rapid linkage disposal will be helpful to promote biodiversity conservation at the upcoming 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP15) which will be held in Kunming in October.
Shekou Foreign Legal Assistance Center
The Shekou Foreign Legal Assistance Center is the first foreign-related public legal assistance entity platform in Guangdong Province. It was established with the joint effort of the Justice Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality and the Shenzhen Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and was founded by Shekou Subdistrict.
Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone
The Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, with a planning area of 15 square kilometers, is located on the east coast of the Pearl River and west of the Nantou Peninsula. It consists of three sections, namely Guiwan, Qianwan and Mawan. Planned, deployed and promoted by President Xi Jinping, the advancement of the development and opening of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone is a major measure of the country’s reform and opening-up initiative in the new era.
